William H. Venable's daughter Susan Venable, born in 1909, married Leffrich Mayo, born in 1899.

The child of Leffrich and Susan was Geraldine "Jaleel" Mayo (1924 - 1985). The second wife of Leffrich, was Alice Geneva Butler. They had four children.

The parents of Leffrich were Thomas W. Mayo, Jr., born 1862, and Pocahontus "Poca" White, born 1864.
